Editorial Photographer in New York City

Editorial work is about trust and time: a subject who opens up, a place that reveals itself, and a photographer who can build a publication-ready sequence — environmental portraits, lit portraits, and the documentary frames that hold a story together.

My documentary practice runs deepest on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, an ongoing series on watermen and working-waterfront communities. Assignment work includes Hurricane Ian’s aftermath in Fort Myers, a third-generation Florida marina and the family preserving it, and culture and fashion coverage in New York. My photography has appeared in BmoreArt and International Artist, and I’ve covered Tribeca Festival.

For photo editors and communications teams: I research before I arrive, I photograph portraits and reportage in the same visit, and I deliver a sequence that’s ready to lay out — not a contact sheet to rescue.
